Dance movement therapy

Psychotherapeutic use of movement and dance so as to engage the client in a creative process encouraging their emotional, cognitive, physical and social integration. This non-verbal expression creates a specific “choreography” of each individual and reflects their current perception and experience of the outside world. This expressive therapy is conducted solely through the aid of psychological props of a communication and relationship nature, based on conscious, intentional, structured and scientifically-backed interaction between the therapist and client.
